SPI Hires New Director of Goal-Keeping/International Programs

SPI welcomes Massimo “Max” Bonazza as the new Director of GK/International Programs. Based out of Bologna, Italy, Max will manage all aspects of SPI’s international programs working closely with local (Italian) and other European professional clubs to further strengthen SPI’s international relationships.

Max holds a prestigious EUFA “B” coaching badge and gained his playing experience at Ravenna-Calcio (Italy). He now continues to develop goal-keepers ages U10-U19 for a number of local clubs in and around his native Bologna.

Plans call for Max to spend early 2009 in the US to draft and implement structured (curriculum based) educational programs for our client clubs as part of their comprehensive player development programs.Current plans also call for Max to manage SPI Goal-Keeping Academies in North Carolina, New York and Virginia in the summer of 2009.

Future Star Program-Summer 2008

The Future Star Program™ has been especially designed for U9-U13 (ages 8-12) players with skill and conceptual development as primary focus. Program utilizes a high-level curriculum which challenges our young players both physically and mentally.

ODFC Continues to Grow!

Club grows to 250 strong-including 11 travel teams!!

SPI will soon begin its 12th season of developing players and coaches at ODFC. ODFC is the newest premier soccer club in the area and is based out of South Riding, Virginia. The Old Dominion Football Club (ODFC) cater to players ranging in ages 3 to 18 years old. The club philosophy is simple but powerful, placing emphasis on education and development-not on "winning at all cost".
