International Coaches Network Goal-Keeping

International Coaches Network (ICN) aims to provide high-level international coaches to local clubs for either short or long terms. The project will match ICN coaches and trainers with local clubs or organizations for predetermined periods of time. They will assist in initiating educational and developmental programs within the club. They will not only assist in the design of these programs, they will provide teaching support for club coaches, trainers and administrative staff. The program is set to launch in the fall of 2015.

Name: Massimo “Max” Bonazza

Nationality: Italian

Summary of Qualifications:

After a successful career as a professional soccer player (goalkeeper) I have started to train and inspire young goalkeepers about 10 years ago. I have established relationships with some of the most important clubs in Italy (AC Cesena, Parma FC, JSS – Juventus Soccer School). After spending many years in important professional clubs as director of goalkeeping program, I am currently holding the same position in one of the most important youth system clubs in Italy (AC Cesena) as the director of U10-U14 goalkeeping program and I am also the director of the goalkeeping program of an important Virginia (USA) based club. I had also important experiences as “technical director” who believes in teaching young players valuable life skills through a soccer education. My target is to create an environment where everyone is committed to making each other better. No one is more important than the team, including the staff, and everyone is working towards a common goal that has been clearly set forth from the first day. While we will be goal-oriented, we will also be able to adapt to all situation, on and off the field. I want to work with individuals, not only players with good technical soccer skills, but character, moral values and integrity are fundamental parts.
