Dallas, Texas has once again been selected to be the host city for the Southwest (SW) WPSL Regional International Combine taking place this January 3rd-5th, 2022.

The Dallas location at the Bob Jones Park Soccer Fields in Southlake, Texas is the same location that hosted the combine back in 2019. This pristine soccer facility “greets” players with perfectly manicured fields in close proximity to Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport.

We thank our WPSL host club SouthStar FC for providing our venue for the 2022 combine!

FC Berlin Confirms Hosting of WPSL Combine

Founded in 2017, in Kitchener, Ontario, FC Berlin set out with an objective to provide a high-performance academy experience with a focus on developing long-term professionals that can continue their career at the post-secondary level.

FC Berlin looks to bridge the gap in supporting high quality soccer on the border by joining Canadian and American soccer cultures together. The club’s goal has been to expand to the rapidly fast-growing market in the United States and provide Canadian/American athletes the pathway to professional soccer.

The club has since expanded its headquarters to Buffalo, New York – making it the new home for their pro-development teams. In summer of 2020, FC Berlin joined the United Premier Soccer League and established a men’s team that competes in the Northeast Conference of the UPSL’s Division I.

FC Berlin plans to thoroughly invest in the Buffalo community and has a goal to become a fully fan-owned club, with community representatives in the board of directors, by 2023.

For their inaugural season in the league, FC Berlin plans to play their home matches at Frontier High School in Elma, New York, 17 miles southeast of Buffalo. Ticket information will be available in the spring.

WPSL International Combine dates to be determined.
